Where is Submissions Digest #30?
Digimob is a quarterly-release group, but many of you may have noticed that two quarters have ended without a Release. Part of this is the fault of the current wearer of the hat of group Admin - namely myself, F.D.T. A combination of laziness, busyness, and lack of resources has gotten in the way, and for that I sincerely apologize.
However, another part is a general lack of assistance from the community itself. Live links are prohibited on the forums for two reasons: first, we cannot verify the legality of such links without extensive research, not to mention the applicability. Second, we prefer to share those works which qualify not only with members of our community, but with the world as a whole - which is why we opted to use Bittorrent as our Release mechanism. (There is also the technical limitation of using a free forum which doesn't grant us access to our forum database - if we get kicked off of this server for whatever reason, we may not be able to take your posts with us.)
So, the main reason I am not writing an article about having just released #30 is because we need your help. If there is anything in your collection which is not in ours (the Release Index was created to help check just that), please submit it for inclusion in our next Release. All you have to do is ZIP it up, upload it to a free file hosting site (there is a list here), then email the link to occult [ dot ] digital [ dot ] mobilization [ at ] gmail [ dot ] com. Our Content Team will download the files, check them over, and then include them in the next Release. If your files don't make it, wait to see if they show in the next Release before asking us what gives. We'll try to let you know if we can't include something because of legal limitations (this tends to be very rare).
If the time has not come to retire this project and give way to others, such as theoccult.bz (which has a high level of interest among members of this site), we will continue to do our best to provide what service we can. However, without your help, we will never be able to pull it off.
Go well, and may the Winds guide you in your Journey.
