The Goetia Project

After years of casual study, I found myself with a deep want to perform a rather long ritual. Being of the LHP classification, things like "The Sacred Magic of Abramelin" were kind of outside my preference, but I did envy the conviction one would take to achieve that. In my restlessness, but still foolish pre-initiatory mind I devised a one year ritual, a ritual of peaceably working with each and every of the 72 Goetia spirits. By reserving 5 days for some thing planned at another time, I had the room of 360 days. I could work with each any every of the 72 for the span of five days, and thus my hastily planned working was underway.

I was rather foolish, but now I feel it was the right thing to do, and to continue to do. At this moment I am working with the spirit Decarabia, as the 23rd spirit of 72. 113 days have passed so far, and it has been quite a ride. Of these, I even kept a journal of these encounters as well as an online version.

That sounds like a very formative experience! Have you considered firing off a letter to Mr. DuQuette? Are you working with anyone else or flying solo?

I've had the urge to contact a few people, but I am a tad bit shy hehehe. This project of mine is all flying solo, one of the challenges is to keep my nerve and steel myself to hardship... willpower, she be a fickle mistress!

Have you thought of collaborating? Some Goetic operations work well with teams...

Oh, well that does remind me, my now girlfriend and I did a ritual to Zepar. It wasn't anything big, she looked into a mirror, and she saw some things which were odd because they were a lot like the things I saw. I doubt I'd be able to find someone with my similar mindset and view points though...

I've caught a cold from my significant other so I slowed down with the posting of write ups but that doesn't mean I slowed down doing them or the rituals. I will be posting Halphas, Ipos, and Glasya-Labolas in the next few days.

I have an acquaintance whose practice revolves around Goetic workings... I've been trying to get her in here, but I think she's busy trying to make a living off her practice... Nevertheless, I think it'd be interesting to find someone to work through this in tandem with.

These days were bogged down by an annoying head cold with a corner stone of congestion. I will do a ritual at the end of the 360 days for those who I felt the rituals are sub-par or lacking from some human default.
