i was like where did these people come from and why, its odd i guess because the history channel made so many references to the occult with freemasons and hitlers scientists then finally making specific studies on the occult and the million videos they did of nostradamus, it is entertaining but theres no way to prevent the people from knowing of the knowledge now, then you also have those conspiracy theorists who place the blame on secret societies and hidden knowledge theres seriously no way of preventing people from seeing or hearing about the occult, i mean i used to want to be a freemason back when i was in highschool and i was friends with my history teacher who was teaching about them and then i asked more about them after class and it turned out he was a mason so i had to wait until i was 21 to become one and when time came i didnt have the money because i was jobless at the time but anyways sorry for sidetracking i dont want to be a freemason anymore due to the excessive hype about it i mean every corny conspiracy theory documentary i watch always mentions freemasonry and the mayan calendar i mean god it sickens me!

Creating exclusivity might get us greater membership numbers, but the quality of membership would not necessarily go up, and participation would certainly not be affected much. As it is, we have hundreds of members that have never done anything beyond register (I myself was one of those until late last year), and several more who have made a single post - usually to ask for a theoccult.bz invite - and never even logged in again, much less participated. Creating exclusivity would only make that problem worse. We will never restrict access or membership, because our entire purpose is to make these materials freely available to the interested students of the occult and esoteric. So it works for theoccult.bz, but it wouldn't work for us at all.

People still message me and ask for an invite, although nobody has for a couple of weeks now. I don't give out invites anymore because someone had been banned from the site and kept asking me for an invite and got me into a lot of trouble.

hey amanda, i just read your reply and it is so true, i had been banned but i didnt ask anybody for an invite due to me jeapordizing their account, but i have found a way to overcome being banned and i am now a member again, if anyone has been banned you can message me and i will teach you how to change your status to make a new account.

If anyone's been banned, don't ask me for an invite. I got into a lot of trouble last time when I (unknowingly) invited someone who had been banned.
