Legba Lodge of Esoteric Studies -
See Legba Lodge for more:
We are a chartered Lodge of the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Egyptian Initiation (Memphis-Misraïm). In plain English, this means that we engage in the study of esoteric philosophy as well as in hands-on experimentation with the goal of a psychosomatic gnostic evolution. Our primary research interests at this time are applied spiritism and theurgy (both understood as protocols of interaction with noncorporeal consciousnesses/intelligences), sexual magick, subtle bioenergetics (the trajectories of energy that underlie such phenomena as points chauds, the wheel of the year, and the teachings of Juan Matus in the works of Castaneda, among others), and esoteric engineering.
Our charter was granted by T Sir Hasirim, Allen H. Greenfield, a renowned occultist and a Gnostic Bishop. The Conservator and Hierophant of our rite is T Michael Bertiaux, perhaps the greatest living occultist (that is, unless Kenneth Grant wishes to compete for the title).
Rather than being structured in terms of a degree-based hierarchy, the lodge is organized along the lines of an energetic system, a rhizomatic transdimensional egregore. Those sincere seekers who would like to join in our work we encourage to contact us and if we resonate, we will work something out.

I know a guy in this... He's a bit... odd.
In the past I've heard good things about Bertiaux and his gnostic voudon system, but I wonder about anyone who attempts to claim of mantle of "greatest living occultist".
Greenfield's another interesting and controversial character... If they're collaborating, I bet it's on something colorful.
