I've found this classic meditative practice highly-effective.

Effective at what, exactly?

You watched the video right?

Lin Ai Wei spends the first minute talking about some of its uses.

But just to add that in many westerners the flow of energy between brain and body is restricted and a lot of energy trapped is in their heads. This is natural looking at how our society tends to process information and its value on control. Apart from the benefits listed in the video this exercise helps to dissolve these blockages integrating body and mind.

It also can act as an energy pump (also hinted at in the video) which works in a way similar to the perineum squeezes which you will find in many martial arts, tantra, yoga exercises. It doesn’t contain any of the inherent risks that working with the Moola bandha does (you’re not going to access more energy than you can handle) and so is perfectly safe

The best thing of course is to try it and see.

Have fun, enjoy, and let us know if you find it useful, interesting or just a waste of time.

Near as I can tell, the two are the same thing. But alas, neither had any sign of it. We shall have to rely on another site possibly having a copy instead. Sad
