Hy evreyone, need guidence!
Hi,
My name is Mircea and I am from Romania. I want to start the occult journey. I want to study the occult. I have no prior activity of any kind.
I have read some general stuff regarding many subjects of the occult.
I can find a starting point in my study, so I need some guidance. Help me please.
Thanks

Hi Mircea42!
I'd imagine you could get lots of competing answers for such a request... What do you want to do with your practice? Do you want a system that will provide a framework for your domination over the material plane? Do you want a system that is meditation-driven? ???

Spend a little bit of time reading this wikipedia entry and some of the entries that it links to (where it says 'See also'). After half an hour, you'll know more about both Western and Eastern systems of magick than most self-proclaimed experts.

I think Amandachen has given about the best advice possible: spend some time reading.

Welcome!
And don't forget to spend some time practicing as well! Robert Anton Wilson wrote an excellent introduction for Christopher Hyatt's "Undoing Yourself" where he hammers home the value of "doing the exercises." If you're interested, it can be found in digimob's "Mega-Torrent #2.2 (H - K)" in the directory "Hyatt, Christopher". Also in digimob's "Occult Carrot" and "Digest #19".

Re: Hy evreyone, need guidence!
Very good advice, on both fronts. When you have an idea of where to look, the new Release Index is a good place to find texts that cover what you're interested in. People have always been a great resource for figuring out what path to take to reach what destination, but there just isn't the time in the day for those of us who understand enough about every path out there (and I am NOT one of those - yet) to help every soul that needs it. That's why we invented writing, and we invented the Internet so the written word could be easier to access. (Well, we invented the Internet so the US Department of Defense could communicate between any two points in the country even if the switchboards were destroyed in between, but it since grew into what we know and love today.) So sit back, make yourself comfortable, and dig in as fast as your body can handle.
Also, Google Translate (there's a gadget for it on the top left of every page) is a great way to write things in one language and have people understand them in another. If English isn't your first language, feel free to use the translator - it's not perfect, but sometimes it's better than trying to think of how to translate what you're thinking.
Best of luck, and may the Winds guide you in your Journey!
(But I repeat myself...)
