Thnx

I've no idea which torrent files you are talking about or which client you use. But maybe there's foreign characters in the torrent filename?

Hi, Amanda!
This happened with couple of files, for example:

I'm using uTorrent.

You might have to look to see if those torrents are hosted on some other site, like isohunt. Try a google search. Not sure a digimob admin is around right now.

sounds like the websites response. use a different search engine like demonoid, isohunt, piratebay, mininova, etc. etc.

I've definitely never gotten this particular error from any torrent I've ever downloaded, and I don't know of any reasons that our Releases would throw it... The suggestions of others seem to be fairly sound, though - try downloading the .torrent file from a different location. If you haven't already, I would recommend getting it from the Release Index (link is at the top of the page) since the copy there is guaranteed to be the correct one. If you still get the same error, it might be a lack of active seeders. I'll do what I can about that.

And of course, it might just be your ISP filtering out bittorrent traffic.

Sendoshin
Thank you.
As for me, I already downloaded the .torrent file from a different location.

OK, I feel kinda silly now. I misunderstood what it was you meant when you said "download a torrent-file", though I'm not sure why, now...

The error you were getting was a side-effect of the way I uploaded the .torrents to the server. Essentially, the download script couldn't find the .torrent file because it wasn't named correctly. I've manually fixed the names of .torrents I already uploaded, and modified the upload script so that I shouldn't have to again, but I'll keep an eye on it for a bit, especially when 29.2 is released in a few days. The link for 29.1 is working - I tested it myself. Very Happy

Namaste!
