I'm not able to access the video you mentioned (I'm in China) but people under-estimate the power of mind-control and manipulation. (World) society induces people to sleep and it is only by persistently trying to enlighten what has today become the occult that this can be remedied.
Ancient masters of wisdon (like Lao Tzu) right up to modern icons like Carl Jung helped uncover the potential scope of the human psyche. However, ever since Nazi inmate experiments and the development of psychotropic medications to daze and control people population control has become that much easier. Today, the medical-pharmaceutical megalith (and materiatistic society in general) controls people to a far greater extent than what a brutal dictator is only able to do for a short lenght of time.
All individual human psyches are contained within the human collective psyche; just as I have seen that each individual psyche contains within it the whole of the human collective. Looking at it from this perspective it becomes obvious that it is not only our responsibility to enlighten what the shadow "hydes" within each of us, it is also the only way each of us can truly evolve into our full potential. Everything truly must begin with the individual: then we voluntarily and thus sincerely join with our brothers and sisters. Real charity begins at home.

Most people tend to operate as emotional-behavioral loop recording devices without any content filtering whatsoever. It’s just a biological mechanism nature provided for those not engaged into spiritual attainment so they would fit in snuggly into their surroundings.

We’re being constantly subjected to the pre-selected behavioral patterns and emotional responses to every day life situations we might find ourselves engaged in. What is interesting is that most of those patterns are total fiction and are meant to confuse you, so you wouldn’t become a proactive participant of social processes.

Take for instance the NLP as a one great set of tools being used today. You just turn on your TV set and you’ll see an entire work of Ericson, Grinder and Bandler put into practical use.

Take Bush or Obama speeches for example. They’d talk for then minutes and if you listen to it carefully you’ll find out that you cannot recall any meaningful content from what they just said but you get the words like terrorism or change firing off in your mind for a long time after the speech is over.

Intellect is being misguided by depersonalized statements and generalized theories that don’t come into conflict with pre recorded behavioral patterns and personal belief systems while perception is being targeted by emotionally potent simplifications( as Chomsky calls it) that tend to act as an emotional ankers that initiate certain newly introduced behavioral patterns.

Astrology, for instance, is a pretty handy tool for reconnecting intellect and perception into a healthy cognitive device that enables you to boost your reasoning abilities. It’s great because it engages both left brain serial thinking and right brain symbolic thinking providing your hermeneutical abilities a fruitful playground for further development and growth.

I couldn't have said it better. most of society is composed of (well-meaning) people who are told what to think, how to react, etc. You're right on the money.
What happens when each layer of the occult is peeled back, it becomes more and more apparent that on the unconscious levels of the psyche people (individual and collective) are very active. The more unconscious, the more (adversely) active. The problem is that the puppeteers who orchetstrate what you so eloquently described, do so with a clear purpose in mind (only those at the very top of the elite are truly aware of the whole scheme of things). The more people become conscious (de-occult the occult), the more powerful they are able to psychically effect people and their environment. Those with less than admirable intentions, (assisted with technology) can psychically control people. However, this goes beyond what most people would consider.
9/10's of our thought processes, actions, etc. depend on thought processes far out of conscious sight of most people. Powerful minds do in fact control the "unconscious" or subliminal thought processes of most people, and I'm not referring to stimulous-response processes. It is precisely the numbing affect of the mechanism that you described which enable people to be psychically (consciously on the unconscious levels) manipulated. When people's consious awareness is turned off (for example when people think only with their intellect (left brain) instead of their heart-whole person (right brain), on the unconscious levels of psyche these minds actually become weapons to attack those stuggling to achieve greater levels of consciousness and life; to evelove.

When you come to think about it, it’s like in those zombie movies where you always get to see a handful of remaining humans fighting off hordes of zombies who always charge at them all bloodthirsty trying to bite them and get them infected with a zombie virus.

It’s interesting how humanitys natural state of being doesn’t require of us to become enlightened as long as we live and act according to a set of natural instincts (instructions) we’re born with. As soon as we start to develop unnatural instincts and get urged to actions by them the need for enlightment appears as a counter mechanism.

All of the behavioral fallacies, that unnatural instincts inserted into us produce, tend to have as a consequence the disfigurement and destruction of natures given mean of psychological completion. So you don’t need to see an animal or a beautiful gorge or mountain range but a Ferrari or a 150 story building to be able to achieve psychological compleetness.

We end up getting driven by someones agendas and personal goals that get us far from the true self attainment because the means for projection-introjection mechanism and psychological content feedback are artificial. That’s why most of us end up wasting our libido (from Jungian point of view) through processes of unnatural objects (technology) acquirement as means of self fulfillment.

Take for the example the I phone. You’re not modern independent up to date (updated version) individual if you don’t possess an object like this, that is at the same time being possessed by millions of others (the card of false individuality attainment being played so obviously). And you get a guy, flying from Tokyo into New York, camping for three days in front of the store so he’d be a first one to buy it. (or was it just a nice media trick meant to make that urge for possession of such an object familiar)

It’s precisely that mechanism that enables the creation of the debt based money out of nothing. We invest our energy into attainment of useless objects that never get us where we’re supposed to be going at a cost of selling our libido at a discount price. By a simple act of magic we get what we’d create through a 20 years of action, experience and a sense of fulfillment for a few hours and an obligation that directs our future giving us nothing of the natural rewards of the process.

Carrot on the stick mechanism. That’s what we get for being mean to donkies Very Happy
