C.F. Russell
Anyone here come across this guy before? He seems to have done some interesting work with the I Ching and geometric figures and probably quite a bit else, I've not even begun to scratch the surface. I thought maybe some of my fellow digimobsters might enjoy:

I remember coming across that yijing stuff before. I think all Crowley fans would know about Russell.

Re: C.F. Russell
Hello NBB,
First, if you haven't read the "Complete Magick Curriculum of the GBG" it's in some of the torrents and can be found with a quick search online. It has the basic occult information of Russell's G.'.B.'.G.'. / Chronzon Club. Second you may want to take a closer look at Michael Bertiaux's stuff. Specifically the Monastery of the Seven Rays course material found in a previous torrent. The second or third year, I can't recall which off of the top of my head, contains quite a bit of material that's either lifted verbatim or paraphrased from Russell. At the very least, you could say that it's "adapted" from Russell. Bertiaux was a member of Russell's Chronozon Club and along with Louis Culling is one of the successors of his teachings. The M7R material is fairly early stuff before Bertiaux went completely off his nut and is more coherent than his later material. You may want to seek out Russell's Barbara Cubed and Book of the Chameleon. I no longer have them and can't bring myself to pay $200 each for some pamphlets on material I'm not really that interested in (especially when I bought both of them for $5 15 or so years ago!) And not when I have so many other books waiting in line for my bookshelf

Re: C.F. Russell
amanda: I didn't realize. Why is that?
worlock93: Interesting. Barbara Cubed & Book Chameleon both seem to be available on the site I linked to.

Re: C.F. Russell
NBB: If memory serves I believe those are just fragments and the website authors explanations of some of the material found in Barbara Cubed and Book Chamelon. They're short, but they aren't quite that short. Unless I'm missing something there....

Re: C.F. Russell
I first encountered Russell in Crowley's Confessions. That's pretty funny reading!
