Hello, Bonjour, Ni Hao
Hi,
As I have been downloading most (all?) of the torrents up to 22, it's time for me to join the forum and see if I can help.
For the basic introduction: european leaving in Beijing, China, rather ecclectic in the paths I follow. I am interested in sources of information in english, french, dutch and latin.
I usually obsess on magic squares and triangular numbers.
Regards,
Simon

Re: Hello, Bonjour, Ni Hao
Hi Simon, welcome!
If you've made it up to digest #22, you're nearly caught up!
Beijing's very metropolitan, and perhaps a bit more flexible than in the countryside. Do you ever have safety concerns unique to your environment?
With an interest in Latin, you might be pleased to hear that digest #26 will have a few more Latin mss.

Safety concerns
Hi Khephra,
Well concerning safety, I stick to the drill, "Banish Early, Banish Often". So far it works for me.
For latin, I am not a scholar but been through a classic education system, turns out that I have not much use of it outside esoteric readings, but that still give me an edge.
